BOARD MEMBERS

Kids 4 Smiles Board Members have generously donated their time to help guide the future World Changers
to become philanthropists and to be empowered to spread love and smiles to people around the world.

Isabella Santini Hoang

Co-Founder & CEO

Isabella just turned 6 years old in February and has been a philanthropist before she was born. A beautiful baby shower in her honor was hosted by Godmother Carolyn, Auntie Sue, Godfather Roberto, Tio Paul, Tio Anddy & Tio David which raised over $5000 USD for Operation Smile. Since then, she has donated all of her birthday money and set up a lemonade stand in Highland Park Village benefiting Operation Smile.

Kids 4 Smiles was formed in fall 2017 for Isabella and her friends so that they can spread smiles to everyone by working on many campaigns to raise funds for local and global projects. Please join Isabella and friends to become World Changers and socially responsible citizens of the world.

Dr. Dane Hoang

Co-Founder & President

For Dr. Dane Hoang, her world isn’t just about her daughter Isabella–it’s about every child. For more than two decades she has been dedicated to helping children have healthy, beautiful smiles. “Every child across the world deserves a great smile,” she says. “Dr. Dane” has taken that vision beyond the walls of her offices. It’s no surprise that she is a fervent supporter of Operation Smile, traveling internationally each year to provide free dental care for kids in need. She also works tirelessly with missions and fundraising efforts for the organization.

Along with Isabella, she founded Kids 4 Smiles, an organization established on the belief that one can change the world… at any age. With the mission of empowering children to become World Changers through various volunteer opportunities in the community, Kids 4 Smiles recently completed fundraising efforts to help the victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and, with the help of students at Kramer Elementary School, bought school supplies for children in Mexico and Ethiopia.

BOARD OF ADVISORS

Mike Adams

Board of Advisors

Mike Adams played professional baseball from 2001-2014 for the Milwaukee Brewers, San Diego Padres, Texas Rangers and Philadelphia Phillies. Mike Adams was part of the 2011 Texas Rangers World Series team. Mike & Shelly have been married for 12 years and have two children – Keira (10) and Kaiden (6). Mike & Shelly have been part of Operation Smile for 8 years. In 2012 they were named Ambassadors for Operation Smile for their work on behalf of the organization.

“In 2010 my wife was pregnant with our son, Kaiden, and during one of her checkups we found out he was going to be born with a cleft lip and palate. Luckily he only had the cleft lip! Around this same time we were also looking to be part of a foundation/organization to support. That’s when we were put in contact with Dr. Bill Magee and his wife Kathy, the founders of Operation Smile. They actually came to see us at our team hotel in L.A. and instead of telling us all about their organization they prepared us for everything to expect with our own son. Right then we knew we wanted to be part of Operation Smile! Going on 8 years strong we’ve been blessed to be part of the Operation Smile family, helping to raise money and awareness for families here and around the world!”

Shelly Adams

Board of Advisors

Shelly Adams is married to Mike Adams who played professional baseball from 2001-2014 for the Milwaukee Brewers, San Diego Padres, Texas Rangers and Philadelphia Phillies. They have two beautiful children, Kiera (11) and Kaiden (7) and have been married for 13 years.

About 8 years ago, Shelly was pregnant Kaiden and during one of her visits with the OB/GYN, the doctor informed Mike and Shelly that their unborn son has a cleft lip. During this time period, they wanted to learn more about cleft lip and palate and get involved with a foundation/organization. Through some mutual acquaintances, they were introduced to Dr. Bill Magee and his wife Kathy, founders of Operation Smile. Bill and Kathy came to meet with Shelly and Mike at a hotel in L.A. and spent a lot of time preparing them for their son’s future surgeries to repair the cleft.  Since their son Kaiden was born with a cleft lip, the Adams have been committed to raising awareness and funds to transform the lives of children with cleft.
